TAJO OSTRICHTajo Ostrich are the largest North Island producer of Ostrich meat. Tajo ostrich only sell meat that comes from the birds they farm. No animal by products are fed to the birds. They are also free from hormones and antibiotics. Ostrich meat is incredibly lean and best served medium rare. Currently we are sourcing Ostrcih minute steaks, these are fantastic on the BBQ.

CANTERBURY BILTONGUnable to find decent biltong in New Zealand, South African born David Stanley began Canterbury Biltong in his heathcote valley garage. Biltong has a long shelf life and only the best meat is cured for the final product. There are no preservatives and the nitrates have been removed from the original recipe. Canterbury biltong is available in handy 100g packets in four different flavours: Chilli, Smokey BBQ, Garlic and Original. Not only is Biltong a great snack but can be used in cooking aswell try using it instead of bacon for your next pasta or homemade pizza.

WILD PORK BACON Unlike farmed Bacon the Wild Pork Bacon has an extremely dark pink colour and is incredibly low in fat often with none at all on the slices. It has stronger gamey taste compared to regular pork bacon but won’t overpower your dishes when cooking with it.
